"The Chosen One "is the first part of a 4 song tale of Sun vs Moon.
"Queen of the Night" tells the second part of this tale.

Tell the tale that darkness lies beneath his heart.
So it says he will light up the dark, for he is the one.
Walking down the path he spots a girl in white.
The benevolent nice guy then offers to take her back to the light.

What a surprise, the girl accepts him. In the way home they fell in love
-So then, he’s not the one? Why then, was she alone?

A black bird then stares and drops a tear
For her, as the man keeps telling stories, wants to make up with her.
With a kiss the girl have said to him “you can”
And she offers to take him to meet the world where the pain has no name.

What a surprise the man accepts her.
In her eyes seems to bright a red light
-So then, he’s not the one? Why then, was she alone?
-So then, he’s not the one? Why then, was she alone?

Before the sun arises
Before the moon hides darkness
She’ll wait for his arrival
To play the harmless princess.

So when the moon is rising
And the wind speaks out her name
There will be blood and sadness
For she is the night’s own breath.

The fool man came to “save her” with the hope to say: “you’re mine”
Lovely star in earth, breaker of hearts...Queen of the night.

So the man seems scared while they walk to the dark
And the voices in that forest seems to laugh, seems to cry

“So the road has ended, there is nothing here”
And he wonders “where am I?” She answers: “this is your grave you must bleed, oh...”

“Oh no, you’re wrong the grave has your name
In the light the shadows come to reign”
This man, yes he’s the one. The one sent by the sun
The chosen one.

She is the hope of darkness
He is the sun on earth, the one she’ll stand against.
The one she will fight back, even with her own life
But for tonight this one ends, sad as it is.

In the night a man brought to the grave a gift
For the daughter of the “only mother” known as the moon.
At the dawn the man went to his home alone
And the chosen one is laughing, and the sun is saying
“Well done my dear son”.
